Every presidential election chooses who governs. But many of America's biggest problems last longer than a four-year term.

The Compromise Protocol develops a system for qualifying long-term problems, building from a common evidence record, making meaningful concessions, testing proposed solutions, and producing resolutions for adoption by institutions that already possess lawful authority.

The goal is not to force everyone into the middle. It is to create a process where difficult proposals can be inspected, attacked, tested, revised, or rejected before national authority is considered.
