The metaphor
The wheel represents the probability architecture surrounding a person or system. Each segment represents a possible emotional or behavioral response; its size represents how available that response is under the current conditions. The ball represents the response that emerges in the moment.
This example shows supportive conditions: joy, confidence, and compassion have more room on the wheel. Sadness, jealousy, anger, anxiety, and withdrawal remain possible, but occupy less space. A different history, pressure, environment, or reinforcement pattern could change every proportion.
