A separate Android app with its own Streetwise logo in your app drawer. Download it here, then complete installation through Android.

Install in three steps

1. Tap Download, then open Chrome → ⋮ → Downloads → Streetwise-1.0.0.apk.
2. If Android asks, allow Chrome to install the app from this source. Return to the installer and tap Install.
3. Wait for Android’s App installed confirmation, then tap Open. Swipe up to your app drawer and search for Streetwise. Drag its logo onto your home screen if desired.

Downloading the file is the first step. The website cannot confirm that Android completed the installation. The app is installed only after Android’s installer finishes.

What is included

In-app Drive Mode lock, GPS mileage while the app is visible and locked, pause/resume controls, a local trip journal, backup import/export and an account-backed daily bonus. Driver files are bundled for offline use from the first launch. Account sign-in and daily bonuses require internet.

Android can apply Streetwise’s own Do Not Disturb rule after you grant notification-policy access. Set your call preference before locking Drive Mode. Alarms and media remain allowed; system overrides and other Android modes can take precedence. Mileage pauses when Drive Mode unlocks or you leave the app.

Mileage-based point awards, paid ad-free plans and partner redemption remain in development.

Keep your trips and updates

The Android app has its own storage. Sign in again after installing. To bring over browser trips, export a Streetwise backup in Privacy & settings, then import it in the Android app. Future APK updates must be installed over the existing app using the same signing certificate. Uninstalling can erase local trips; export a backup first.

Cannot find it?

Look in Chrome Downloads for the APK and open it. If Android never showed its own installation screen, the app has not yet been installed. If installed, check Settings → Apps → Streetwise and your launcher’s app search or hidden-app settings. Chrome’s cached offline files and a fullscreen browser window are separate from an Android app install.
